Kentucky Shakespeare presents the oldest free Shakespeare festival in the United States.

Internships

Kentucky Shakespeare has various internship opportunities throughout the year. We’re currently looking for:

Development & Marketing Intern

  • Assists with the coordination and implementation of fundraising efforts/events/grants for the current and future Kentucky Shakespeare seasons and education programs
  • Data entry, mailing campaigns and community-focused events
  • Assists with general administration duties as needed

Arts Management Intern

  • Assists with special events planning, administrative support, community development among members of cast, crew and staff and front office support.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in Photoshop and graphic design (preferred)

Education Intern

  • Assists staff with day-to-day administration and special projects in the area of Education administration
  • Supports the Education Tour
  • Assists with marketing
  • Coordinates education research projects
  • Organizes education files
  • Special projects aligned with the intern’s interests and career focus

Technical Internships Available

  • Scenic Wardrobe Properties
  • Sound Lighting Production Crew
  • Stage Management
  • Acting (By audition only)
