2018 Touring Cast

Shaleen Cholera (Lysander/Flute/Moth) is thrilled to be back with Kentucky Shakespeare! He was last seen on stage in Memphis, TN, with Tennessee Shakespeare Company in their production of The Two Gentleman of Verona. Last summer with Kentucky Shakespeare, he was in Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Caesar, and Richard II. Favorite past credits include Othello (Othello), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lysander/Flute), Disgraced (Hussein), and Macbeth (Macbeth).  M.F.A.: University of Louisville, 2017.

Tamara Dearing (Titania/Hippolyta/Quince) is thrilled to be performing with the Kentucky Shakespeare’s spring tour for the first time. She has worked with many local theatre companies such as StageOne Family Theatre, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Theatre [502], Pandora Productions, and Louisville Repertory Company. She was previously seen on the Central Park stage in Kentucky Shakespeare’s The Birds. Tamara is also a local singer-songwriter whose music can often be heard in rotation on WFPK.

Charity Means (Hermia/Snug/Peaseblossom) is excited to bring the Bard to the masses this spring with Kentucky Shakespeare! She recently obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and has since had the opportunity to perform with regional companies such as Derby Dinner Playhouse and the Cleveland Playhouse. Favorite credits include:  Fancy Nancy: the Musical (Bree), Kicked! by Pamela DiPasquale (Karen), Heathers: the Musical (Young Republicanette), and Spring Awakening (Ensemble Vocalist).

Colin Nesmith (Oberon/Theseus/Snout) is thrilled to work with Kentucky Shakespeare for the first time. A graduate of University of California - Irvine (M.F.A.) and University of Evansville (B.F.A.) acting programs, his recent Shakespearean roles include Hamlet and The Taming of the Shrew with Evansville Shakespeare Players and Claudio, Malvolio, and Antipholus of Ephesus with The New Swan Shakespeare Festival.  Colin currently splits his time between Louisville and his hometown of Evansville where he can frequently be seen onstage, or waiting tables as a T-Rex with an Italian Accent.

Neill Robertson (Demetrius/Bottom) is excited to be back with Kentucky Shakespeare for another spring tour. Neill was seen in last year’s spring tour of Julius Caesar as Cassius/et al. Kentucky Shakespeare credits include: Richard II (Richard II), Much Ado About Nothing (Friar Frances), Julius Caesar (Soothsayer), Titus Andronicus (Saturninus), The Winters Tale (Autolycus), Romeo and Juliet (Tybalt), The Tempest (Francisco), The Taming of the Shrew (Tranio), and Macbeth (Witch/Young Seward). Other local credits include: Hamlet with Stage One (Horatio/Player Queen), Dracula at Actors Theatre of Louisville (Renfield), Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Pandora Productions (Hedwig/Tommy), The Language Archive with Theatre [502] (Resten), and Misalliance with Commonwealth Theatre Center (Bunny).

Sabrina Spalding (Helena/Starveling/Cobweb/Egeus) couldn’t be happier being on the spring tour for the second time! She is a native of Louisville and has worked with several companies around town—some of which include Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company, The Bard’s Town Theatre, Marrow Street Theatre, Pandora Productions, and Derby City Playwrights. A special thanks goes out to her sister, Stephanie, whom she blames for her wild love affair with theatre.
