Shakespeare in the Park

“The audience was a mixture – toddlers in diapers and swimsuits; youngsters who had ridden their bikes to the park; the braless, long-haired set; silver-haired ladies who wore neat, freshly pressed dresses; elderly men who regularly go to the park, lots of families and about a half dozen dogs…”                                         – Linda Stahl, Courier Journal, July 8, 1971.
