2020 Shakespeare in the Parks Tour Cast
Jon Becraft (Claudius/Ghost) is the Artistic Director of Baby Horse Theatre Group, and serves as director, co-writer, and performer for Louisville Championship Arm Wrestling. He has worked extensively with Kentucky Shakespeare as a touring artist educator, and appeared onstage as Orlando (As You Like It) Don John (Much Ado About Nothing), and Saturninus (Titus Andronicus). He works with Commonwealth Theatre Center as a Conservatory Teacher, and Outreach Artist, and has worked locally with Theatre  and the Mary Shelley Electric Co.
Jennice Butler (Gertrude/Francisco) holds an MFA in acting from U.C. Irvine and a BS in Theatre from University of Evansville, IN, and is certified in Knight-Thompson Speechwork. L.A. credits: The Pliant Girls (Ovation nominated); Too Much of Water; Shine Darkly, Illyria; Suckin Injun (Hollywood Fringe Festival) and Private Lives (ICT, Long Beach). She also acted in two seasons with Summer Repertory Theatre (Santa Rosa, CA) and was an acting apprentice at Great River Shakespeare Festival.
Alfred Jones, Jr.
Alfred Jones, Jr. (Laertes/Bernardo/Guildenstern/Player King) is excited to make his debut with Kentucky Shakespeare! Alfie was previously seen in Once on This Island with Actors Theatre of Louisville and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Other credits: Disney Cruise Line sailing aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, Derby Dinner Playhouse (Stinky Kids The Musical, Rapunzel, Christmas In Candyland, How I Became a Pirate). Choreography: Choir Boy, A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, The Addams Family, and Hedwig & The Angry Inch! Alfie thanks the Jones and Robertson Family for supporting and loving him through his life, especially his loving fiancé Neill.
Tessa McShane (Ophelia/Osric/Priest) is from Louisville and received her BA in Theatre from Hanover College. Tessa has been a teaching artist for Kentucky Shakespeare since 2015. During this she served as an instructor for Camp Shakespeare as well as an Artist Educator, touring performances and workshops to schools and communities all over Kentucky and surrounding states. Tessa strives to spark a passion of theatre arts in students of all ages.
Brittany Patillo (Horatio/Rosencrantz/Player Queen) BeeBee is a recent graduate from the University of Louisville. This is her debut role with Kentucky Shakespeare. Her previous roles include Neena in The Green Book with Bunbury Theatre and Loud Stone in Euridyce with University of Louisville. Outside of theatre, she serves as the 2019 Kentucky Derby Festival Queen and a local dance instructor for the LaNita Rocknettes School of Dance and other companies. Brittany wants to express her deepest gratitude for the love and support she has received from her family and friends.
Neill Robertson (Polonius/Marcellus/Player/Gravedigger) has been performing with Kentucky Shakespeare since 2015. He has was last seen in the summer season as Edgar in King Lear. Previous roles include Richard II, Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors, Autolycus in The Winters Tale, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Saturninus in Titus Andronicus, and one of the Witches in Macbeth. He has previously toured with Kentucky Shakespeare in Julius Caesar, and A Midsummer Nights Dream. Please enjoy the show, and remember to support local arts organizations however you can! 4AJ
Matt Street (Hamlet) is a recent graduate from IU Southeast, and this is his first tour with Kentucky Shakespeare. He has worked with local theaters such as Derby Dinner Playhouse, The Liminal Playhouse, and TheatreWorks of SoIn. He is incredibly excited to be working with this wonderful organization, and is very grateful to be given the opportunity to connect with audiences across the state (and beyond!).
