Kentucky Shakespeare held General Auditions for our 2025 Spring Tour and (Macbeth) 2025 Summer Season of Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Central Park (titles TBA) on Monday, December 9, 2024. We saw many great folks and aren’t planning any more open calls at this time. If you are an actor in the Louisville area, you’re welcome to submit your headshot and resume, any time, for future consideration. Paid Summer Internships
We offer paid internships in every technical and administrative department of the theatre during the summer season in our Bekki Jo Schneider Intern Company. Associate Artistic Director Amy Attaway leads the intern company, and she will be happy to answer your questions any time.
The Bekki Jo Schneider Intern Company is an important part of our summer season, and it’s essential to our mission of education and outreach. We are actively seeking interns of diverse backgrounds – race, ethnicity, gender identity and sexual preference, geography, socio-economic status, and all other underrepresented identities. We take seriously our role in developing the next generation of theatre-makers!
Important notes for 2025:
*Acting internships are based on our casting needs each summer and will require an audition.
*We are not able to provide housing for interns this summer.

- You will receive a confirmation email when all your materials have been received.
- Interviews will take place in February and March, and decisions will be made by the end of March.
