Thanks to a Louisville Metro External Agency Fund Grant, we partnered with the Louisville Free Public Library to bring Shakespeare’s HAMLET to ten Louisville Public Library branches in November-December, 2019.

Our 2020-2021 season Shakespeare in the Libraries production will be A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, directed and adapted by Director of Education Kyle Ware.

Thanks to the generosity of Louisville Metro Government, Kentucky Shakespeare tours our free one-hour performance of a Shakespeare play for young audiences to Louisville Free Public Library branches. It’s a fun and free opportunity for families throughout the city to experience this accessible and creative take on Shakespeare’s work. During the interactive performance the actors engage with audience members and have the opportunity for post-performance discussion as well. The program is suitable for all ages.
