Emily is thrilled to be the production stage manager at Kentucky Shakespeare, a company that has been a true joy to work with since her first summer festival as stage manager in 2022! She has had the honor to work with them on all of the summer festivals since then, as well as the winter productions of Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Emily has had a love for stage management since her sophomore year of high school when she was the SM for her school’s production of Urinetown the Musical, and is continually in awe that she gets to wake up everyday and do this work. She believes in a compassionate approach to stage management, and is grateful for the community that is created and cultivated in each production.

Emily got her degree in Theatrical Production and Design from Midwestern State University in her home state of Texas. She has lived in Louisville since 2021, and is a proud transplant to this arts community! The bulk of her experience is in stage management and scenic painting, but she also has experience in wardrobe management, and scenic design. Local credits include work with StageOne, Kentucky Opera, Louisville Ballet, Pandora Productions, and Infinity Productions, as well as a few films.

When she isn’t in rehearsal or at a show, Emily enjoys spending time in nature or enjoying a local coffee shop with a good book. She is thankful for the constant love and support from her friends and family, especially from her fiance, Nash, & their pets, Toula, Sebastian, and Monty.
