SHAKESPEARE IN THE LIBRARIES TOUR 2024
We toured our two-actor ROMEO & JULIET to five Louisville Free Public Library branches in March and April, 2024.
March 9-April 6, Kentucky Shakespeare is touring our two-actor, one-hour interactive performance of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet to five Louisville Free Public Library branches. It’s a free opportunity for young audiences and families throughout the city to experience an accessible and creative take on Shakespeare’s classic work. During the interactive performance, the actors engage with audience members and have the opportunity for post-performance discussion as well. The program is suitable for all ages. Directed and adapted by Director of Education Kyle Ware.
Shawnee Library: Saturday, March 2 at 2:00 pm
Northeast Regional Library: Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 pm
South Central Regional Library: Saturday, March 16 at 2:00 pm
Main Library: Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 pm
Southwest Regional Library: Saturday, April 6 at 2:00 pm
This season’s Shakespeare in the Libraries performance was an interactive two-actor version of Romeo & Juliet.
