SHAKESPEARE IN THE LIBRARIES TOUR, SPRING 2026

Our two-actor version of Shakespeare’s The Tempest tours to five Louisville Free Public Libraries, Spring 2026

In March and April, Kentucky Shakespeare will tour our two-actor performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest to five Louisville Free Public Library branches. It’s a fast (one hour), fun, and FREE opportunity for families throughout the city to experience an accessible and creative take on Shakespeare’s work. During the interactive performance, the actors engage with audience members and have the opportunity for post-performance discussion as well. The program is suitable for all ages. Directed and adapted by Director of Education Kyle Ware.

 

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

St. Matthews Library: March 7 at 2:00 p.m.

Southwest Regional Library: March 14 at 2:00 p.m.

Portland Library: March 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Northeast Regional Library: March 28 at 2:00 p.m.

South Central Regional Library: April 4 at 2:00 p.m.
