Madison Harmon, Artist Educator
Madison Harmon is an actor, artist, and storyteller with a passion for sharing stories that resonate with audiences and inspire them to think, feel, and believe. She has spent the last year falling in love with William’s Shakespeare plays and poems, working as an Artist Educator with Kentucky Shakespeare, getting to tour the Commonwealth performing in different productions like Shakespeare Alive! and A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Two Actor. She also worked with students on different workshops like Acting Fundamentals, Staging Shakespeare, and Voices of Young Women.
Prior to coming to Kentucky Shakespeare, she graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Charlotte in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief, and Yenchna in Fools.
Being born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, Madison knows firsthand the profound impact and power the arts can have on people—especially when they reach communities that are overlooked or underserved. That experience is why she is passionate about making the arts accessible to everyone from all walks of life; because the arts are and should be for everyone!
