Jon Huffman

Jon Huffman, Lord Gray

Jon is descended from preachers and teachers, squires and liars, scoundrels and rebels and stowaways – and at least one cowboy. He became an actor by accident (and mostly, at first, because he thought it was cool), but soon realized the awesome responsibility of being a Storyteller – a calling, itself, descended from the very earliest human campfire congregation, when the Shaman sang and danced and preached the stories of gods and laws and the origins of the Tribe. Jon is honored to have crafted a life that lies in the lineage of those who continue to pass along Humanity’s stories. On that journey, he’s been fortunate: he’s acted in theatre productions all over the country, in dozens of television series and feature films (working with some of the most famous Storytellers of all), he’s narrated over 250 audiobooks, written plays and musicals, and has also penned several films – including one that’s a cult classic. Now Jon finds himself at Kentucky Shakespeare’s campfire, working with – and learning from – the best Storytellers anywhere. Thank you for being a part of this congregation and our Story.
